Note on Airbags

Volkswagen uses a clockspring system for the airbag and steering wheel controls. When switching to an aftermarket wheel, you'll lose steering wheel controls (volume, cruise, etc.) but can use an airbag resistor to prevent the SRS light. This is standard for any aftermarket wheel installation on modern VW products.
